Mrs. Gill is the upper grade School Counselor at Thurman Francis. She loves serving students, school staff, and families by providing mental health supports in the school setting. This is Mrs. Gill's tenth year as a School Counselor, and her seventh year at Thurman Francis Arts Academy. Go Rams!
In 2014, Mrs. Gill graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, SC, with two degrees - a Master of Education and an Education Specialist degree, with a license in School Counseling. Go Clemson Tigers! Before working in Rutherford County Schools, Mrs. Gill was a School Counselor in Wilson County. In 2004, Mrs. Gill earned an undergraduate degree in Mass Communications from Middle Tennessee State University. Outside of the school setting, Mrs. Gill is working towards a License in Professional Counseling (LPC).
Mrs. Gill is a native of Marietta, Georgia but has called Murfreesboro home since 2001, except for three years in upstate South Carolina. Mrs. Gill loves spending time with her husband and kids; their daughter is in high school, and their son is in elementary school. She also enjoys time with family, friends, and church friends who are like family. She loves to travel, shop, see a movie or play, and visit the softball batting cage.
