Week of 3/16

 

ELA: We will work with author's purpose, point of view, and fact vs. opinion this week. Students will write their own opinion paragraph. We will also have a visit from a terrestrial zoologist to teach us all about bats and their importance on Monday.

 

Skills: We continue to work on alternate spellings and suffixes that change a word's meaning.

 

Math: We are finishing our module on measurement and will begin working on time to the nearest 5 minutes.

 

Science: students are working to complete their graphic organizer on a Tennessee pollinator and will create a Canva to present their knowledge.
