About Mrs. Palmer

I am excited and privileged to be your child's teacher this year! I received my bachelor's and master's degrees from Western Governors University. This year marks my 13th as a teacher and my fourth at Thurman Francis. I have also worked in educational administration but found my "sweet spot" to be working directly with children.

 

My husband Charles and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary this summer. We have two daughters, Olivia and Emily who attend Thurman Francis in the 5th and 8th grades. We live in Smyrna with a goofy German shepherd named Lily, three cats (Lulu, Luke, and Leia) two corn snakes named Lihn and Louie, a Hamster named Lightning, and a crested gecko named Loki.
