Suggested Reading

This book is not required for my class nor will we do any work directly from this book. However, I've found it to be a phenomenal additional resource for scholars to use outside of the classroom. The style it is written in helps to make all the things we learn in class "sink in". This book uses key concepts, mnemonic devices, doodles, timelines, and definitions. It not only covers all of the ancient cultures that we will discuss in class this year, but it also includes 7th grade history as well.
