About me

I am excited to teach 3rd grade at TFAA again this year!  This is my 24th year in education, all in the Rutherford County Schools.  During this time, I have taught various grade levels, worked as an Interventionist and been an Instructional Coach.  I have also worked for the Tennessee Department of Education with state standards and TCAP testing during the last several summers. 

 

My husband, Johnny, and I have been married for 30 years.  We have two adult children...Hunter and Hannah.  Hunter and his wife, Ashlyn, work at Vanderbilt Hospital.  They have our two grandbabies...Sutton and Lucy!  We also have two dogs...Gunner, a Newfoundland, and Ruger, a Chow.  We enjoy playing outdoors, riding 4 wheelers, and watching movies.  

 

I can't wait to share this school year with my students!  Whatever changes and new experiences are to come, we'll only learn and grow.  We're all in this together!
