About me

I am excited to teach 3rd grade at TFAA this year!  This is my 22nd year in education, all in the Rutherford County Schools.  During this time, I have taught various grade levels, worked as an Interventionist, and been an Instructional Coach.  I have also worked for the Tennessee Department of Education with state standards and TCAP testing during the last several summers. 

 

My husband, Johnny, and I have been married for 28 years.  We have two children...Hunter, age 25 and Hannah, age 19.  We also have two dogs...Gunner, a Newfoundland, and Ruger, a Chow.  We enjoy playing outdoors, riding 4 wheelers, and watching movies.  

 

I can't wait to share this school year with my students!  Whatever changes and new experiences are to come, we'll only learn and grow.  We're all in this together!
