I am a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies, a M.ED. in Curriculum and Instruction, and an Ed.S. in Administration and Supervision. I began my career at West Hills Elementary in Lewisburg, TN teaching grades 3-5 in 1997. I began teaching at Thurman Francis Arts Academy in 1998. I was fortunate enough to be involved in the planning and implementation as our school transitioned into a magnet program during the 2000-2001 school year. During this time I taught 5th grade and then transitioned to teaching 4th grade. I'm looking forward to providing support in my new role as an instructional coach! In my hours away from school I love to play problem solving games, read, hang out with family and friends, and watch a good movie. I am happily married with two boys.
