TFAA PTO Committees for 2025/2026 School Year

 

● Applause Committee provides staff with birthday drinks/cards monthly, organize, pick up/deliver dinner during parent/teacher conferences, helps plan & participate with Teacher Appreciation Week. Please contact Meredith Brown!

 

● Beautification Committee helps make sure the grounds of our school stay looking Ramtastic! This committee may involve landscaping type projects, trash clean-up, pressure washing, and other jobs to make TFAA shine. Please contact Amy Owsley!

 

● Event Planning Committee plans various PTO events, such as the Back to School Bash, dances for elementary students, and our Christmas tree lighting. Please contact Erin Bader!

 

● Middle School Committee plans events for the 6-8th graders at TFAA. Middle school students have a Back-to-school party, 2 dances: fall with homecoming court/pep rally & a Spring Fling. Please contact Jennifer Sanderson!

 

● Performing Arts provides support to the teachers and students in all the arts classes, specifically their performances. As we enter our second year as a committee, we have great opportunities to increase our support for all! For now, volunteers help monitor doors and hand out programs at the band and strings performances each semester as our main volunteer opportunity. Please contact Mindy Walker!

 

● Ram Refreshments purchases county approved snacks that students can then purchase 1 Friday morning each month. Refreshments also set up concession stands during Ram Run and Field Day. Please contact Cheryl Corle!

 

● Ram Reinforcements provides extra classroom supplies and support for our students and teachers. Periodic supply drives for classroom items and may also fulfill some individual teacher supply requests. Please contact Stefanie Bachman or Lisa LeVitus!

 

● Ram Run is our fall fundraiser event! This is our major school fundraiser and is typically held annually in October. This committee also helps with money collection days/prize hand out days and running the event the day of Ram Run. This event takes a village! Please contact Julie Cobble, Lindsey Johnson or Marsha Gardner!

 

● Spirit Nights works with local businesses to plan different events that raise money and provide for the PTO operating budget. Please contact Ali Collins or Mirna Khairallah!

 

● Spirit Wear creates designs and manages our TFAA Spirit Wear site selling the best Ramily gear. Spirit Wear also works alongside our Ram Run committee to help design and sell the shirt for our main event. Please contact Ashley Golden!

 

● Staff Appreciation Luncheon plans and organizes monthly staff luncheons hosted at the school by obtaining quotes/discounts/donations from local restaurants, picking up, delivering, setting up, serving on the day of the event. Parents are asked to donate by grade level to an appreciation luncheon via sign up, donation, or volunteer. Committee determines grade schedule. Please contact Catherine DaCosta or Ali Collins!
