Student Council State Convention 2025

You've Got a Friend in Me Speech and Essay Contest Rules

One student council member will be selected for the speech contest and another for the essay contest.
The speech contest is in person on Saturday at convention in front of judges but not peers.
The winning speech orator delivers their speech on Sunday morning to the full convention.
We are allowed one speech contestant and one essay contestant.

Both the essay and the speech are on the topic of friendship (You've Got a Friend in Me).
